I have so much trouble with pokeballs!! D: do you have any advice to offer? I've used the invisible decrease, but the white end still ends up with holes no matter how tight I crochet it, and I don't know how to properly connect the top and bottom halves when I do it that way. @_@;
you're Master Ball looks REALLY awesome, which is why I'm asking you :>
Yay! A fellow crocheter! XD And no worries! I actually didn't decrease with the pokeballs, because the finish is not nice even with the invisible decrease. What I did was making two halves and sewed them together to give it a smoother finish! And I simply sewed the two halves together at the black bit as it won't be so apparent as well : ) Give it a try and see how it goes! : D Hope that helped! ^w^
I'm relatively new when it comes to crochet; it was a spontaneous decision I made last October, and since I picked it up so fast, I decided to keep at it. I don't understand all of the stitches and I can't read patterns all that well, so I tend to figure things out by myself. Even though I didn't completely understand it, what you said really helped me! I FINALLY made a successful pokeball!! *radiates happiness* I'm going to make more and post pictures once I'm through. For the button, I personally want to use felt because I like the look of that better. Thank you so much!!
That's great though! I started to crochet because I once saw a book on how to crochet Rilakkuma and though to myself: "Wow! That's amazing! I wanna do that too!" So I taught myself how to crochet via websites and YouTube xD That has been 3 years ago now and I still feel like I haven't learnt everything yet xD But that's what I love about it lol And I look forward to your pictures! I'll watch you as soon as I can get to my computer (using my phone at the moment xD) Yeah, go for it I try to make most of my things with yarn. Only when there are details or things too small to crochet that I go for the felt xD Then again, I use felt for the eyes of my brain slug... xD Well, guess it's different in each case lol Happy crocheting to you! BTW, a friend of mine would looooooove the umbreon you made xD
I started because I saw a TON of crochet plushies at our local anime convention, and since the only shiny umbreon there wasn't for sale, I decided I'd make one for myself, and I haven't stopped since I like to use felt for the eyes, usually, and certain other things. Other than that, I usually just stick to yarn. Thank you for the watch I'll watch you as well! About your friend, maybe s/he and I can work something out in the future
Sorry >.< I thought I had already commented!! dA must have nommed it
Maybe you spazzing out so much on twitter made me think that you commented on DA as well XD That's how far your spazzing reaches lol
